Scummy Yummy

Scrummy Yummy is a pet food company that creates perishable dog or cat food using fresh food ingredients to create healthy pet food. Scrummy Yummy cooks and packages the food, then delivers it to your front door saving you time and as a subscription service, you don’t have to worry about running out or remembering to reorder each week.

How

How do pets owners of dogs and cats feed them perishable food without having to cook it themselves? 

Why

With a focus on being health-conscious, people are seeking healthier food options for themselves and their pets. I thought if humans can get fresh food delivered, why can't we do the same for our pets?

Pain Points

  • What kind of food can dogs/cats eat. 

  • Fresh pet food only lasted so long. 

  • What type of stores would carry the fresh cat/dog food 

  • Owners have to get the food without having to go to the store every other day.

Use clean lines and white space to give a clear and easy flow for the user to use and not feel overwhelmed.

What I Learned

Having more information about why fresh food is the healthier choice. Also giving more information about the company makes the user more information about the product.    

What I Added To The High-Fidelity Phototype

  •  Users can pick delivery dates as well as pick a weekly delivery date for subscription service.  

  • Give more information about why the company created the product and its importance of healthy eating on the welcome page.

  • Added a confirmation payment for the user to review before final purchase.

CONCLUSION 

Pets are family too. Users want to give them the love and attention they need. Having a service saves the user time without sacrificing their healthy lifestyle. The next step for the app is to create age-group options (kitten/puppy, adult, senior).
